MURKA is a name. It’s our mother’s name at home — the affectionate word our father calls her. When this brand needed a name, nothing else felt right.
We make silk scarves. Each one carries an original artwork by our father — irises, poppies, mandalas, quiet forest creatures. His designs exist only on our scarves. In the end, this brand is our way of talking about love; the prints say it for us.
